From May 1, Russians vaccinated with Sputnik V or any Chinese-made vaccine will be able to obtain a visa to China and travel between the two countries without quarantine. This became known after the publication of the details of the visit to China of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

The agreements apply to all types of visas, including student, business and tourist visas.

“The Chinese side understands that many Russian students are waiting to return to universities. We hope that this year’s graduates will have time to attend the graduation ceremony, ” said Zhao Lijian, the official representative of the Foreign Ministry in China.

Please, remember that at the moment you can only come to China using working visas. Citizens vaccinated with the Chinese vaccine are exempt from issuing PU invitation letters.
